This Jakcure treatment from Jacksons fencing is applied to all Jacksons timber products involves a strict process of carefully chosen timbers being kiln-dried so that the moisture content is reduced to that specified for that type of wood. Then, a preservative is forced by vacuum/pressure right through the outside sapwood to the heartwood, forming an insoluble compound that protects against rot and insect attack. Whilst not the cheapest, their products are guaranteed against rot and insect attack for 25 years.

Post options-
- Slotted H shape posts. These Jacksons posts are designed with the wind in mind, reducing the damage caused by wind movement when panels are screwed to the post. These posts are Jacksons alternative to the standard concrete posts. In comparison to the traditional concrete post, the installation of the H posts is easier, mainly due to the reduced weight. The complete range of Jacksons fencing panels fit neatly into this style of post
- Slotted Heavy-duty fence post. These posts have a larger profile than the standard H-shaped fence post. This is better suited to larger fencing panels in more exposed areas or customers looking to improve the security in their gardens.
- Mi-T Metal Fence Posts. Hot-dipped galvanised with a 25-year service life guarantee, these posts are a serious contender for any high-end fencing project. These fencing posts are maintenance-free and 100% recyclable.
- Standard (Non-slotted) Wooden fence post. These are square-section, smooth-faced posts. These can be used for garden fencing panels and lighter-weight garden gates.
Garden fence panel options-
- Feather-board panel. One of the strongest panels from the Jacksons fencing range. This panel is made of 3 precision-cut backing rails clad with 100mm feather-edge boards. This style of fence panel is best suited to the slotted fencing posts. If you are price-conscious, this is the most affordable panel from the range.
- Canterbury combination panel. This is a stylish combination tongue and groove panel with a Venetian trellis topper. These fully framed fence panel is designed to be used in conjunction with the Jacksons slotted timber posts or the Mi-T Metal fence post.
Gates, garden and driveway-
- Driveway gates & Courtyard gates. If you’re looking to improve security, Jacksons fencing offers a wide range of gates. The larger gates in the range have galvanised steel framework clad on both sides. All the fixings and fittings are made from galvanised stainless steel. The majority of the range is boarded with tongue and groove paneling, all backed by the 25-year guarantee.
- Pedestrian gates. If you’re looking for a trellis-style gate or a more solid feel, Jacksons offers 17 different styles of gate. The price starts from £108, which by most standards is affordable.
